WHY Do We Exist?

SVC exists to…

1. …celebrate God’s presence.

Worship: Expressing my love to God.

2. …communicate God’s Word.

Evangelism: Sharing the good news with others.

(God’s) intent was that through the church, (His) manifold wisdom should be made known... Ephesians 3:10 (NIV)

3. …educate God’s people.

Discipleship: Becoming spiritually mature.

Let us leave the elementary teachings of Christ and go on to maturity… Hebrews 6:1 (NIV)

4. …demonstrate God’s love.

Ministry: Meeting the needs of people with love.
