2 Chronicles 16:9 (NLT) The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.
What is the book you most enjoyed reading in the past six months?
“My Generation – a real journey of change and hope” by Josh James Riebock
What is your favorite hobby/past-time?
Routine exercise and performance reality TV (American Idol; So You Think You Can Dance)
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Carole and I have had many opportunities to travel and we have enjoyed them all. My favorite place with both adventure and rest is Maui, Hawaii.
What is your favorite food?
For the price, tri-tip and salad at Stonefire Grill, Santa Clarita, CA. A little more pricey, prime rib (seasoned and seared), sweet potato and steamed vegetables at Outback Steakhouse. When we have a few extra dollars, Filet Mignon, asparagus and bread pudding at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Maui, Hawaii.
What is your favorite pet?
While we have a great cat that acts more like a dog, I would prefer to not have a pet.

What is your favorite scripture verse?
Titus 3:3-7 (NIV) At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. I think it most describes the transforming means by which a person is saved.
What is the book you most enjoyed reading in the past six months?
Well…I have been reading a great commentary on Romans, but that is not leisure reading. I started and am in the process of reading “Forgotten GOD” by Francis Chan.
What is your favorite hobby/past-time?
I love mountain biking.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Every year for the last six years, my family and I have gone camping at Lopez Lake - beautiful oak trees, wild turkeys, peacocks and great water-gun fights.
What is your favorite food?
Without question…Chinese food. I can eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What is your favorite pet?
I love ridiculously big dogs…ones that might border on being cattle.
